We are a full service debt collection agency. We are based in Dallas Texas, serving clients nationwide. Our agency specializes in commercial collections and large claims. We resolve business and personal debt by getting the people who control the money to pay what they owe. We have perfected our craft over the past 20 years. We don't use auto dialers, collection scripts or form letters. Our agency's proven collection method yields an 85% success rate.

HOW DID WE START?

Over the course of 20 years, Northstar Acquisitions built its first agency into one of the 10 largest commercial collection agencies in the nation. During this time, we also established ourselves as an industry advocate and thought leader. We championed the industry’s ethical standards and practices while perfecting the art of large claim commercial collections. Our knowledge and expertise in commercial collections, commercial law, insolvencies, banking and all aspects of business operations helped us achieve maximum collection returns for our clients.

HOW HAVE WE EVOLVED?

In addition to our commercial collection agency work, we have served on the board of the American Commercial Collections Association (now the IACC). We also served for the treasury of the Commercial Collection Agency Section of the Commercial Law League of America.

In 2000, we were ready to move on from daily company management and sold our firm to another firm. Retirement was short-lived for the phone never stopped ringing with clients that had cases in need of “the Northstar approach.” In 2001, we founded Northstar Acquisitions to manage special cases and the firm quickly expanded from there.

In 2002, we steadily built the company into a national network of highly experienced large claim specialists. No matter where the client or the debtor is located, Northstar Acquisitions has debt collection industry specialists and attorneys at the ready to find and collect the money that is owed.
